Ordering info
Our website ordering system is only working with .jpg images. However we encourage our customers to use lossless compression file formats, i.e. .tiff or .psd files for canvas and photo printing. We will provide you with ftp server details for sending the files. You can also use .jpg files for placing the order and upload lossless files to the ftp server.
We can also process your files in 16-bit workflow if necessary. Canvas media is more forgiving than photo papers and there isn't much visual difference above 200 dpi. We suggest to supply the files at least 100 dpi effective resolution (not upscaled) . Whenever you have any doubts we can produce proofs of image section at 1:1 scale, free of charge.
Media profiles
Please use .icc profiles below for soft proofing purposes. Our blog section provides full instructions if neccessary. Please note soft proofing is pointless if monitor is not calibrated systematically.
Please right click to download profiles to your computer. Here is some instructions on soft proofing using our profiles in Adobe Photoshop.
Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions on our trade canvas printing service.
Colour space
Our Epson printers are RGB devices. That means they expect the data fed to them to be in RGB format which is also much bigger than CMYK. Suggested colour space is Adobe RGB (1988) although if your images are in any type of sRGB they can be left as that. Unless RAW files are supplied we process your images in 8-bit format.
Easy upload for larger files
To make uploading larger files easier and also to help with ordering files with other than .jpg extension we have just introduced new page - Custom canvas order page. Please use this for uploading your files.
